Update on Nancy Macurda

As many of you know, our own Nancy Macurda has been struggling with major and still un-diagnosed neurological problems over the last month.  A Caring Bridge site has been set up to communicate to you and for you to reach out to the family. Please go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/nancymacurda for more information. Please check the Caring Bridge site for updates.

School Entrance

Once again the doors next to the school office will be closed.  Please enter from the doors next to the auditorium.  In addition, Children’s Worship will be in the Media Center hallway this Sunday.  Children’s Ministry staff will direct you as you take your child to Children’s Worship.  Thank you for being adaptable during the Summer months of cleaning at SVHS.

GOD IS THE GOSPEL  –  D&L STARTING AUGUST 3 at 9:00am

In keeping with our theme of The Year of Gathering, the D&L team will be teaching a course based on the book, “God is the Gospel” by John Piper.  Come and learn about the mystery of the gospel, the message of the gospel, and the hope that we have because our God himself came to save the lost.  This study will be taught by various D&L teachers who will provide a fresh look at the gospel message and how we can bring God’s truth to a lost world.
